Deb McCann, Director of Payor Relations

Deb has worked extensively on all sides of the provider-payor relationship. She started her career overseeing billing staff doing revenue management for a large national physician services company, rising to become their Director of Payor Contracting, responsible for negotiating and maintaining all managed care contracts for the company. She also worked as a contract negotiator for one of the nation's largest health insurers, gaining experience with the strategies commonly used by insurers in physician contracting.

Most recently, she served as the Director of Managed Care for a national ambulatory surgery center management company before becoming Director of Payor Relations for TeamHealth Anesthesia. Her role at TeamHealth Anesthesia is to initiate and negotiate agreements with third-party payors that fairly reflect the quality and value Anesthetix physicians provide their communities.
