Sonya Pease, MD, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Pease completed her anesthesiology residency at University of Miami, in Miami, FL, after earning her MD at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Prior to joining Anesthetix she was Practice Administrator of her private practice group and Division Director of Anesthesiology at a tertiary-care hospital in West Palm Beach, FL.

She is actively involved as a policy advocate for anesthesiologists, on both a state and local level, holding leadership and delegate positions with the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Pease serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Anesthetix, where her role is to oversee and optimize all clinical aspects throughout the organization. Her areas of focus include Quality Measurement and Management, using meaningful data to help make continuous improvements in the quality of medical care and service that our clinicians provide nationwide.
